Marie Kondo is a Japanese organizing expert. Her book, The Life Changing Magic of Tidying Up, hit the bestseller list about a decade ago and she has since penned two other books (Spark Joy and Joy at Work) and created a Netflix special.
Marie seems so genuine. So well-intentioned. And she has changed countless lives with her recommendations to declutter by keeping only items that ‘spark joy.’
But, this topic just came up in the ADHD Success Club and I think we need to talk about it. Because I’m not convinced these organizing techniques will work for people with ADHD.
