With brains that constantly crave stimulation, the appeal of trying to do more than one thing at a time is almost too much to resist for many people with ADHD. And that’s one reason we find ourselves multitasking.

But if you believe you’re being more efficient… or if you believe you’re actually multitasking… you’re in for a rude awakening! Science has proven that what we often call “multitasking” is not possible!

The truth is that most of the time when we’re trying to multitask, we:

  • are less efficient
  • waste a lot of time
  • use up a lot of energy unnecessarily
  • add to our stress
  • reduce our working memory
  • and cause more problems!

In this week’s episode, we talk about why all of this is true — and what we can do instead in order to be more efficient and less stressed out!

Oh… and we talk about the one type of multitasking that not only works… it’s actually good!
