If you tuned into Episode 210 – Dealing with Difficult Times, then you know I’ve been dealing with some family challenges that resulted in a topsy turvy summer.
So I’m doubling down on who I want to be. And that is someone who cares, delivers and shows up…and I’m showing up this week for the podcast in a different way and sharing a replay of one of my most popular episodes in case you missed it!
This episode asks the question: Is it possible to learn new skills and make changes in the way that you manage your ADHD?
The simply answer is YES. And I’m excited to share with you a story about someone who did!
Tune in to listen to how coaching has helped “Emma” and what she’s done to reinvent herself and live easier with ADHD!
Here are the other 2 podcasts I mention on this one:
I struggle with ADHD. I am prescribed Adderall. (30mg once per day) I cut it in half because the drop off period (coming down off the medication) is between 3-4 hours, so when I start the coming down period I take the other half. When I take it, I feel normal. Normal defined as; not depressed given my current situation, easier to talk to and feels like a weight has been lifted off me, more energy to do things. (It’s a stimulated so, that is a given) My question is after taking it for so long (3+ years) it starts to lose its effectiveness and I don’t want to continuously increase the dosage. So I reduce the medication into ¼ and take less of it. Which means I get less done and have decreased focus. Do you have any ideas on how to handle this? Thank You.
Hello Dave – Thank you for reaching out and tuning into the podcast! Med dosages can be tricky and I highly recommend that you talk to your prescriber about it.
